By now you're probably aware of the new Schaefer's building, at 4700 R Street, that has been under construction over the past many months. The process has recently finished and Schaefer's has moved into our new home. Our old building at 48th and R has been closed down and we are fully functional at the new location at 4700 R Street (Northwest corner of 48th and R). Here is some information, along with pictures, about our new location.

Two of the major upgrades over our old location will be the increased size and improved accessibility of the parking lot, along with increased showroom floor-space (allowing us to carry a wider variety of brands and product - including Meile, Frigidaire, and Electrolux/ICON Appliances and a variety of new small Appliances, along with Panasonic and Sharp Electronics).

The new building is located on the Northwest corner of 48th and R Street, just West of Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers and North of Target. The lot once used as a car dealership by Sid Dillon, and before that by Branker Buick, has been given a complete makeover.

The remodel process has joined the two previous constructs into a single L-shaped building, along with expanding and repaving the parking lot and loading dock. Along with adding two highly visible entryway signs, building signage, and landscaping, the exterior is quite an upgrade from our previous location.

With the exterior complete, the interior of the building looked to receive enhancements that will set Schaefer's apart from any Appliance and Electronic store in and around the state. Workers stripped down the inside in order to rebuild the look from the ground up. The framing process, dry-walling phase, paint, ceilings, lighting, and flooring were all major steps along the way and as the below pictures really show how the building was truely built from the ground up for our customers.

Schaefer's own appliance, electronic, and home integration install teams showed their skill in customizing our new store in the same manner they Schaeferize each of our customers homes. Everything in the new store demonstrates how Schaefer's expert installers can customize anybody's homes, be it mounting HDTVs, installing appliances, or giving whole home integration (as shown by our multiple room house located inside our new building).
